Terms
We help you easily highlight text directly in PDF files. Now you can mark what matters most in a document just as simply and naturally as in a regular text editor — by dragging your cursor over the lines you need.
Acceptance of the Terms of Use
By using PDF Highlighter, you agree to these Terms of Use and all applicable laws.
Using the Service
Our service is provided on an “as is” basis. This means we are constantly working on improving quality, but we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in every situation. The result largely depends on your file:
If the file is a scan or an image, the cursor may not always detect word boundaries precisely, and highlights may not be perfectly aligned.
If the PDF contains a text layer, highlighting will be accurate and smooth — letter by letter.
Please make sure to review the result before using the document in your work or sharing it with colleagues, to ensure that all important points are highlighted correctly. We are not responsible for any distortion of the document’s content.
Legal Matters
By uploading files to the service, you confirm that you have the right to work with these documents. Responsibility for the content of the files and the legality of their use lies entirely with the user.
Intellectual Property
All materials provided by PDF Highlighter, including all texts, are the property of PDF Highlighter. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without prior written permission from PDF Highlighter.
Restrictions
Please remember that our service may not be used for any illegal purposes. By using the service, you also agree not to engage in activities that interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website or its services.
Stay in Touch
We may update these Terms from time to time. We are actively developing the project to make the tool even more convenient for you. We are always open to your feedback!
